Verizon iPhone to Offer 5 Device Mobile Hotspot
A key feature for Verizon over AT&T's iPhone is the 5 Mobile HotSpot ability. This lets you give your internet connectivity to other devices including iPod Touches, and Computers. On AT&T you have to pay for this ability.
No Data and Talking on Verizon iPhone
In the Q&A section of the Verizon iPhone announcement, a member of the press asked if it was possible to talk while surfing on the web was possible. To our surprise the answer was no, like all other CDMA phones. There are only two differences between the AT&T iPhone and the Verizon iPhone which are the buttons on the side and this issue, surfing the web while talking.
Tim Cook makes surprise Appearance
At Veriozn's press conference for the iPhone 4, Tim Cook made a surprise appearance to help announce the iPhone 4 on Verizon. Unlike all other iPhone related press conference Steve Jobs did not show up.
Apple iPhone is Official
Well wasn't that a surprise. Today at Verizons press conference they just announced the Verizon iPhone. The new iPhone 4 will be available for pre-order in February, and you can have it in your hand on the 10th.
Verizon iPhone Deal Could Cost 5 Billion
Analyst are starting to crunch their numbers on what a future iPhone deal for Verizon would cost, since the realize today it is coming. John Hodulik, an analyst at UBS AG told Business Week that Verizon could sell 13 Million iPhones in the U.S., costing over 5.2 Billion dollars in subsidies to Apple (if they match AT&T's price). Apple Pulls VLC App from iTunes

Apple Tv Disappears From Stores During CES
ifoAppleStore, a trusted site that reports on Apple Stores, latest blog post is saying that on Thursday morning workers at Apple store began dismantling Apple TV setups in store. Apparently they will all go back, once CES is over. The blog has no idea on why the company did this except for the sole reason of not letting people compare these to new products released from Google at CES (Consumer Electronic Show). You will still be able to buy Apple TV's but you will not be able to see them in store till next Monday.
Verizon Press Conference Scheduled from 1.11.11
Verizon today announced to the media that they will be hosting an event on 1.11.11 to announce something new. There is no clue on the invite to what it might be, except who it was sent. Usually Verizon sends invites to everyone including Gizmodo, but this invite was sent to everybody except Gizmodo. Apple usually does this to them to punish them for releasing pictures of the iPhone 4 before the release date. Could this be an Apple related announcement? Read more + read the invite.
