Het promo verhaaltje klinkt als volgt: "Meet your iMac's other half. Now you can work and play where you want. Anytime. And iGo is designed to fully integrate with your iMac so you don't have to compromise on the aesthetics of your environment." En het ziet er mooi uit. Stond trouwens stevig, in hoogte verstelbaar zodat je er met een barkruk, maar ook met gewone stoel achter kan. Mooi in stijl van de iMac, al is het natuurlijk voornamelijk mooi dankzij de iMac.
